Message of the day

Administrators can set the message of the day. Each user will see it on all pages until it is removed individually by user interaction or globally by the admin.

Previews of Microsoft Office documents converted to PDF can optionally be downloaded in PDF format instead of the original format. An additional action is available in Share for this purpose.

Quickshare

Share documents via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter without having to register? With the Quickshare function you can easily share documents with external users. This function can be limited to certain group members for security reasons.

A document shared via Quickshare can be viewed in Alfresco without a user account. It is therefore useful to restrict this feature to certain users for security reasons.

Manual LDAP-Sync

Administrators can manually trigger an LDAP synchronization with various options. This is easily done using the admin tools in Alfresco Share!

Hide menu elements

A simple configuration allows you to hide the menu items "My files" and "Shared files" if desired. If these functions are not used frequently, Share will become clearer to use!
